My name is Millard Scherzer (Alias: Dallas, Duane, or Millard Duane).
I was born on March 29, 1961, at (the once) Garland Hospital in Garland, Texas by Dr. Joey Pirrung,MD. ( Yes, the one that has a Mesuite, Texas high school named after him.)
My earliest memories are at two years old when we lived at Blossom Lane,(Pleasant Grove), Mesquite, Texas. I am the youngest of 5 children to William (Bill) Scherzer, Jr. and Altus (Bing) Scherzer. Both deceased) My siblings names in order of eldest are: William (Billy Boy) Scherzer, lll, Mary Scherzer Fisher, Anna Scherzer Bielstein, Darrell Scherzer,Sr.(Deceased), and then, me.
I am proud of the many accomplishments I have had, as well as the disappointments that have occurred during my life. (Many that I will touch on in my blog.) My life has not been perfect, but I do not regret anything that has happened as it has made me the man I am today. And thus, this is the reason for my blog.
I am opening my life stories, both funny and sad, as a way to show people that, first, you lose a lot out of life when we judge people without knowing them, and second, everyone is worth a chance to share their friendship with you. Life has so much to learn and you can learn something from everyone. I do this without condemnation of any story I tell. But, I will use either first names or no names of the others in my stories. Like I said, this is about MY life, not anyone else.
If this sounds boring to you, I ask that you give me a chance and stay with me for at least 10 blogs, and please share the website with your friends and acquaintances. Obviously, some stories will be better than others. There is a comment place in the website that allows you to critique or verbalize your feelings on the blog you read. It has a contact page to allow you to send me your information if you want to have one on one talks. There is a photo gallery that covers many ages of my life and that you can add pictures if you would like to add them.
Both my parents are deceased, as well as, my brother Darrell. I will be speaking many times about my family life and have the blessings of my siblings to tell about their part of the stories. So, in the case of possibly repeating myself…….on we go with blog 1, “Can a 2 year old fly?”). Say a prayer for me that this becomes well enough to be daily or weekly reading, and God gives me the strength to tell you the TRUTH as I remember it! My “about Me” page is deliberately not written with dates and accomplishments, etc, because the stories I tell will be bringing them up as I go along. I don’t want to give too much at first.
